This semester the Ken Reeves Memorial Weather Briefings will continue on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th floor of Walker For those of you who are new or unfamiliar these briefings are a great way to keep up with the past, current, and future weather with the scientific explanations behind it all. Everyone is invited to attend and only basic meteorological backgrounds are assumed. The briefings offer more detail than you would receive in a standard television/online weathercast, but the talks are informal and questions/commentary are invited and welcomed. This week's briefing will take place on Tuesday, October 21 at 12:30 PM with Jon Nese presenting. Jon Nese is a Senior Lecturer in meteorology at Penn State and is also the Associate Head for Undergraduate Programs. In addition to his work as a lecturer, Jon works in the production of Weather World for the department creating a weekly segment called "WxYz". Come get the latest forecast details! Date/Time: Tuesday (10/21) at 12:30 pm. Place: Joel N. Myers Weather Center This briefing is recorded: https://www.youtube.com/user/CampusWeatherService
