The Ken Reeves Memorial Weather Briefings occur weekly on Thursdays at 12:30 PM in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th floor of Walker Building.
These briefings are a great way to keep up with the past, current, and future weather with the scientific explanations behind it all. Everyone is invited to attend and only basic meteorological backgrounds are assumed. The briefings offer more detail than you would receive in a standard television/online weathercast, but the talks are informal and questions/commentary are invited and welcomed.
Christopher Melhauser will be presenting on Thursday, February 26 at 12:30pm. Chris graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2008, and received his Masters Degree in Meteorology from Penn State in 2010. He is currently a PhD candidate with research interests in airborne radars, data assimilation, tropical cyclones, and predictability.
Date/Time: Thursday (2/26) at 12:30 PM. Place: Joel N. Myers Weather Center
