Greenhouse gas mitigation in the agricultural sector

Biography:

Kristina is a third year graduate student pursuing a PhD in Meteorology at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. Concerned with rising global temperatures and weather anomalies, Kristina studies the impacts of greenhouse gases on the global climate. More specifically, her thesis work looks at how current mitigation techniques in the agricultural sector reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.

In the spring of 2015, she received a Bachelors in Astrophysics and a minor in Applied Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While an undergraduate student, she worked as a laboratory teaching assistant and tutor for the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Preparing classroom lesson plans and guiding students’ academic development were her typical responsibilities. Her past work experience also extends to sales and public services.
